And then there were 5!
Dear family, friends, and faithful supporters,
We apologize for just now writing an update, but to be honest, the past 7 weeks have been a blur since Caleb's birth. Caleb surprised us and came almost a month early so he could share the same birthday with me!
We were definitely not planning on him coming so soon especially since I had just had surgery a few days earlier. Due to my recovery from surgery and Caleb's prolonged hospital stay due to immature lungs, January turned out to be an exhausting month physically, emotionally, and even spiritually. Caleb has definitely been our most complicated child and we are thankful that he is our third instead of our first or he would have been an only child! Through it all we were able to once again see God's faithfulness in our weakness and we appreciate all of you that were praying for our family.
While here in Lima, we have had the opportunity to reconnect with many people we had formerly invested in and encourage them in their relationship with Christ. Much of our time here in Lima has been doctor/dentist visits and doing paperwork at the Peruvian immigration office and American embassy. Being a dual citizen isn't as easy as it used to be!
Lord willing this upcoming Saturday we will be returning to Ayavirí to start a new year of ministry there. Please pray that the pediatrician says Caleb is ok to travel to 11,000 ft. and the roads and rivers haven't been affected too much by rainy season. We covet your prayers as we transition back to Ayavirí as a family of 5!
Thanks again for partnering with us to reach souls for Christ here in Perú!
Daniel, Heather, Esther, Joseph, and Caleb Andrés
