Dear Prayer Partner’s,
Our Missionary Physician Assistant students took their final exams yesterday and concluded the didactic portion of their training. They will be on break until January 16th when they will begin their clinical affiliations. These will run until the conclusion of the program sometime in September, 2017. Please pray for our student’s success and our safety as we transport them all over Liberia.
Recently we held a “Feed the Children” program in Koinee one of our church plant villages. They were taught a Bible lesson by two of our students, Steven Tuakolon and William Govergo, who later played games with them followed by a soccer game with the older children. Then we feed around 350 children. This was a special moment for Elizabeth Sayegbough, a student, who has been faithfully leading the children’s Sunday school class for the last two years. A large crowd gathered in the evening as Jamey Mathews and The Baptist Movie Team showed a movie about Jesus. The best part was the way the Lord worked in the hearts of many of the children came forward to talk with counselors.
We are in discussions with Hands and Feet Ministries (Feed the Children) about coming here in February. Things are tentative now, but we always look forward to a great time working on projects, blessing the children and fellowshipping with the saints.
I am always blessed at this time of year and John 3:16 describes Christmas perfectly. Its miracle is the conception, its meaning is love and its message is the eternal God with us.
